• Your mobile number, when you save your seat.
• Where you came from (a short code in the link you used, like "ig").
• The time you signed up and the wording you agreed to.
• Basic technical information every website receives (browser and device type, pages viewed). No advertising cookies or trackers.

• To text you when it's your turn to join, and to help you sign in when you do.
• To understand which channels bring people to NEA.
• Nothing else. No marketing texts, no advertising profiles.

You'll get a confirmation that you're on the list and a text when it's your turn; message frequency varies, about 1–3 messages in total. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any message to stop, HELP for help, or email hello@never-eat-alone.app. Agreeing to texts isn't a condition of using NEA.

We do not share, sell, rent, or provide your mobile phone number or your messaging consent to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes, or for lead generation or third-party analytics. The only companies that handle it are the ones that run our service for us under contract (Supabase for our database, Twilio to deliver texts), and they may use it only to provide that service. We would disclose information to authorities only if legally required.

Your place on the waitlist is removed when you join the app, or 12 months after you signed up. We keep the record of your consent for 4 years, as the law requires. If you opt out, your number stays on a do-not-text list so we never message you again.

Reply STOP to stop texts. Email hello@never-eat-alone.app to be removed from the waitlist or to ask what we hold about you.

This website and NEA are for people 18 and older.

Your information is stored in a database encrypted in transit and at rest, with access limited to the people who run NEA.

If this page changes in a way that matters, the date at the top changes and, if you're on the list, we'll tell you.
